Four wheeled Bariatric Safety Rollers are available in a 500 lb weight capacity and a 1000 lb weight capacity model. Constructed of steel, they feature an automatic braking system. Pressure applied to the handlebar engages the brake. This is ideal for patients with limited hand function and/or limited cognizance. The braking mechanism will automatically engage if patient stumbles. They are height and width adjustable with front swivel wheels. The Safety Roller wraps around the patient and the patient stands in the center of the walker, which allows for an improved upright posture. Optional accessories include a seat, basket, oxygen tank holder, forearm platforms, variable resistance tabs to control the speed of the Safety Roller, swivel wheel locking brackets, IV pole and extended uprights for additional height.
